The world-famous Ryder Cup trophy is heading for World Travel Market in London following Team Europe’s victory over the United States in Chicago,

The cup will be on display at the Scotland section of the UKinbound stand (UKI400) on Monday, November 5 between 10am and 3pm.

The Ryder Cup will be held at Gleneagles, Scotland in 2014 and, to celebrate, visitors to the stand at WTM have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the trophy.

Those who share their photo on Twitter, using the hashtag #rydercupwtm, will be in with a chance of picking up a 2014 Ryder Cup golf goodie bag, with 10 lucky winners being selected at random.

Mike Cantlay, chairman of VisitScotland, said, “Scotland is preparing to welcome the world in 2014, when we host the second year of Homecoming, the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and, of course, the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.”
