Sabre extends GDS deal with Tzell

Under the deal, the CNG Travel Group subsidiary will receive the “full suit” of Sabre services until 2011.
CNG chief executive Finbarr Power said: “As a leader in travel management services, Tzell has to surpass the complex service and value needs of its many corporate customers.
“Sabre plays a key role in helping Tzell deliver, and our expansion plans for Tzell demand certainty of distribution excellence. Sabre provides Tzell with the technology insights, significant product content and service ethos that allows Tzell to be a success in its market niche.”
Sabre president John Stow added: “As one of the largest and longest established independent travel agencies in America, Tzell holds a very important foothold in a key market. We are delighted to continue our relationship with CNG. “
Tzell has 15 locations in the US with more than 800 agency staff. Tzell last year sold a total gross travel value of more than $500 million and has maintained over 20% annual revenue growth.
