Sabre finds lowest fares

Wednesday, 11 Jun, 2004 0

A new study of global distribution systems found Sabre outperformed any other GDS in finding the lowest air fares in the US.

The study found Sabre GDS saved travellers anywhere from $44 to $90 per ticket.

The survey was conducted by TOPAZ International, a provider of airfare analysis and benchmarking data. The company sampled 60 city pairs with US departures, both domestic and trans-border.

“For the third consecutive year, an independent study demonstrates that the Sabre system yields the lowest fares of any GDS,” said Hugh Jones, senior vice president of Sabre Travel Network, North America.
