Sabre integrates Routehappy flight ranking data

Sabre Corp is updating its airline product content via a global partnership with flight ranking data service Routehappy.

The Routehappy data will be integrated into the booking platform, the first for a GDS Sabre says.

Routehappy rates flights based on various criteria including Wi-Fi quality, aircraft, class of service, airport, route and fare, offering what it calls a more retail oriented selling experience.

It gives travel partners at-a-glance relevant information to advise customers on the range of in-flight amenities and products on competing carriers.

The rich content also gives a consistent brand experience across sales channels with visually descriptive merchandising content.

"With the integration of Routehappy Hub as a capability in our agency platform we are driving dynamic traveler-first merchandising, helping our airline customers to unlock higher revenue in their merchandising strategy," said Wade Jones, senior vice president of marketing, Sabre Travel Network.

"Traveler expectations have evolved to where they are looking for complete information about their travel experience and these expectations are shaping airline merchandising and agency retailing."
