Saggar joins Air Mauritius
Air Mauritius has appointed Rick Saggar as head of commercial operations UK and Ireland.
He was formerly Qatar Airways area manager UK, European regional manager for Air Sahara and head of UK and Ireland sales and marketing at Jet Airways.
The move follows the recent appointment of Iqbal Bhayat as regional manager UK and Ireland.
Air Mauritius flies up to seven times a week, from London Heathrow to Mauritius with onward connections to Perth.
From April 24, it will launch a two-class configuration from the UK on its A340-300E aircraft, featuring a new 34-seat business class cabin with lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration.
From June 1, all services to London Heathrow will be operated by A340-300E aircraft, offering the audio Video On Demand inflight entertainment.
