Saint Lucia appoints head of tourism for UK
The Saint Lucia Tourist Board has appointed Patricia Charlery-Leon to lead its operations in the UK.
She replaces Atlyn Forde who left to join Travelport as regional head EMEA.
With a team of four, Charlery-Leon will work to grow visitor arrivals from the UK and Ireland and strengthen Saint Lucia’s trade and consumer relationships.
She initially set up the Saint Lucia Tourist Board office in the UK, where she spent 12 years helping to grow UK arrivals by 40%.
Agnes Francis, executive chairperson of the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, said: "Patricia will bring a level of expertise and certainty to Saint Lucia, which we hope will make it easier for collaboration and communication."
