SalamAir to fly to Beirut year-round
Omani low-cost airline SalamAir will soon operate Beirut flights year-round.
As of 30 September, it becomes a year-round route .
In addition, SalamAir will ramp up Beirut flights during the New Year holiday period.
Capt. Mohamed Ahmed, SalamAir CEO, said: “This update is in response to the overwhelming demand and significant success of bookings for the New Year holidays, as well as the summer season.
It has operated the route seasonally since December 2022.
“This new connection marks an exciting milestone for both countries and opens endless trade, tourism, and cultural exchange possibilities,” he added.
SalamAir will operate weekly Beirut flights each Saturday.
The SalamAir network consists of 41 destinations including Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, Riyadh, Jeddah, Tehran, Istanbul, Bangkok and Kathmandu.
SalamAir launched commercial operations in 2017.
It operates six A320neo and seven A321neo aircraft.
