Salute heroes of the Somme…………..

The battlefields of the Somme will be the focus of Tempo Holidays’ special 2008 ANZAC Day in the Somme package. 

Travellers can be a part of the 90th anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Villers-Bretonneux as well as travelling to the Normandy Landing Beaches, Dunkirk and Waterloo in Belgium.

The 12-day package starts and ends in Paris and features a guided tour of Paris with a Seine cruise, accommodation in three-star hotels, travel in luxury air-conditioned coach and ANZAC Day at Villers-Bretonneux. 

Arriving early morning, clients will attend the Dawn Service with the remainder of the day to continue a discovery of the Circuit of Remembrance.   The package also includes visits to the Australian National Memorial, attendance at a special ceremony at Bullecourt Memorial Park and The Last Post ceremony at Menin Gate. 

There is a single departure from Paris (April 23 – May 4 2008) and price is from $4111 per person based on twin share accommodation, and subject to availability.
