Areas of the resort which were destroyed included the pier, Ava I Toga Bar and Restaurant, the beachside and honeymoon fales, plus the Presidential Suite.
Sinalei management will be in a position to update the website with firm details early next week. Guests may register a booking which Sinalei Reservations subject to reconfirmation of the re-opening date.
A fund has been launched to assist Sinalei and the surrounding villages that were the most severely affected by the tsunami. See separate story for details.
