Sandals to add fourth resort in St Lucia

Friday, 03 Jan, 2017 0

Sandals Resorts International has announced plans for a fourth resort on Saint Lucia.

It said the 19-acre ‘six-star’ Sandals LaSource Saint Lucia will ‘by all indications be a game changer’.

Set to break ground in spring 2017, it will be next door to the Sandals Grande Saint Lucian Resort.

Sandals LaSource Saint Lucia will have 350 rooms and suites, including SkyPool Butler Suites and all-butler signature swim-up Rondoval Suites, a first of their kind in the chain.

The new resort will have an infinity-edge sky pool bar and an ‘elaborate’ entertainment package to include a main stage with a 20′ high LED screen and a mobile DJ party scene.

There will be nine restaurants and Saint Lucia’s first Cafe de Paris, Sandals’ signature French Patisserie, as well as a Butler Lounge convenient for guests with late departures.

"We pride ourselves on continuously raising the bar and Sandals LaSource Saint Lucia will completely re-energise the tourism market in Saint Lucia," said Sandals chairman Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart.

"Since we first opened Sandals Regency La Toc in 1993 we have consistently invested millions of dollars to re-imagine our offerings to ensure our resorts and the Saint Lucian destination is among the best in the world and thereby boosting the local economy.

"This resort will set the stage for the continued revolution of the tourism product in the Caribbean."
