Satta proposes using tour buses as mobile vaccination centres
Sabah Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Satta) is proposing utilising long idled tour buses as mobile vaccination centres to serve remote communities in the East Malaysian state. It will help expedite vaccinations and avoid the need for time consuming and potentially risky travel from remove areas. It will also reward bus operators who have seen their vehicles sat idle for 16 months, said Satta President Seri Winston Liaw.
Separately, Satta is organising the Sabah Virtual Travel Fair from September 16 to 29. The association is urging all Malaysian travel agents and suppliers to support it as the country makes tentative plans to restart some domestic tourism activities.
