Saudi Arabia hosts next WTTC Global Summit
The World Travel & Tourism Council’s 22nd Global Summit will convene in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later this year.
As the Manila WTTC Global Summit closed, Riyadh will host the next from 29 November to 2 December this year.
In Manila, more than a thousand delegates gathered, to discuss how to build upon the global recovery.
Julia Simpson, WTTC President & CEO, said: “This summit is living proof that nothing beats getting together, sharing ideas, debating the challenges, and finding consensus.”
“We look forward to our 22nd WTTC Global Summit in Riyadh to mark the next chapter in the sector’s recovery.”
Under the theme of ‘Rediscovering Travel’, tourism ministers and industry leaders reinforced their determination towards greater cooperation between the public and private sectors.
WTTC’s latest Economic Impact report also revealed the sector was expected to create nearly 126 million new jobs within the next decade.
