Scandinavian specialists merge
Scandinavia specialists, Taber Holidays and Specialised Tours, have merged under the Taber brand.
Margaret Scowen, managing director, owner and the only staff member of Sussex-based Specialised Tours, will work for Taber Holidays as a consultant handling all tailormade itineraries except Iceland and Greenland.
Tailor-made itineraries to Iceland and Greenland will continue to be handled by Taber’s specialist in this area, Terry Shaw.
The merger will mean Yorkshire based-operator Taber Holidays will offer around 125 packages to Norway, Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Greenland. It will also bring Northern Lights’ photography tours into Taber’s portfolio for the first time.
Tabler Holidays MD Suzel Taber-Shaw said the merger comes after the busiest winter ever for both operators.
"In addition, by having two tailor-made specialists within the team, it will free up more time to explore new and unique products for our clients," she said.
