Scenic appoints Asia Pacific sales and marketing GM
Scenic has hired Anthony Laver as group general manager for sales and marketing for the Australia / Asia Pacific region.
Laver joins the cruise operator from Destination New South Wales, where he was general manager of marketing for eight years.
In that role he ran a team of more than 40 and created strategic marketing plans to grow the destination brand.
Based in the Scenic Group Sydney office, Laver says he is eagerly awaiting the launch of Scenic Eclipse next year which will usher in ‘unprecedented voyages of discovery that will set the industry benchmark for luxury experiences.’
"Anthony is a skilled and dedicated leader with a great passion for digital marketing. As we prepare to launch our first ocean ship, Scenic Eclipse in August next year, his extensive domestic and international experience in the travel, major events, retail and entertainment industry will be of immense benefit," said Scenic founder and chairman Glen Moroney.
