Scheduled ski route launched by Astraeus Flystar
New ski flights between Gatwick and Chambery are to be operated this winter by independent airline Astraeus Flystar.
The scheduled service will run on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday – with two flights on Saturday and Sunday – from December to April.
Fares start at £142 return including taxes, fees and charges, providing access to resorts such as Courchevel, Meribel, Tignes and Val d’Isere.
The airline’s managing director Hugh Parry said: “The development of Astraeus Flystar services to Chambery is a further expansion of our scheduled service network and complements our existing charter services.
“The schedule service will allow passengers the flexibility to travel independently to what has become a very popular skiing region.”
