Scoot into the Cook Islands
Cook Islands Tourism is giving agents the chance to win a scooter to zoom about town.
Any agent or wholesaler who books at least one trip to the Cook Islands before December 15, 2011, for travel before May 31, 2012, goes into the draw to win one of two Vespa scooters.
There is no minimum spend to qualify – simply the more bookings agents make, the more chances they have to win.
Cook Islands Tourism will be giving away one scooter for retail and one for wholesale agents.
For an entry form contact Mereana Taruia at Cook Islands Tourism on 0423 765 402 or [email protected]
And for agents who need to brush up on Cook Islands product knowledge, Polynesia Air New Zealand has extended the validity period for industry rates on its new direct flights to Rarotonga, the main island of the group of 15.
The industry rates are $518 plus taxes for agents and $638 plus taxes for companions on the new direct services only, for sale until November 30, 2011 and travel through to March 2012 (some blackouts apply).
The flights depart Sydney at 9pm on Tuesday, arriving in Rarotonga 7am the same day, and depart Rarotonga at 4.35pm on Monday, arriving in Sydney at 7.50pm Tuesday (moving to a Friday/Saturday in October 2011).
Flight time is six hours from Sydney and 7 hours 15 minutes from Rarotonga.
Passengers enjoy full inflight entertainment, 23kg checked baggage and meals and refreshments on board a Boeing 767 configured 24 Business and 204 Economy seats.
