Easyjet was forced to postpone a flight overnight after a scorpion was spotted onboard.

The Paris to Glasgow service was grounded so that the plane could be fumigated, said the airline.

The scorpion was spotted by a passenger on flight EZY6883 as it was preparing for take off from Charles de Gaulle, said Sky News.

An easyJet spokesman confirmed the sighting of the scorpion, adding that the aircraft was being fumigated ‘as a precaution’.

Passengers were put up in hotels and the flight delayed until today,
