It is always fun to hang around at the beaches. At Compass Point, near Cable Beach, the tourists get to experience exactly what they want out of their treasured vacation. The beachside, oceanfront holiday resort presents a wonderful combination of serenity and seclusion, amidst luxury.

Nassau is the home of the Bahamian national capital and encompasses all the fine delicacies accompanying the well-being of the tourists. Apart from providing with a variety of well-equipped guest rooms, the hotel serves with a number of other entertainment programs. In Paradise Island, at a stone’s throw distance from the resort, the tourists can enjoy themselves in the amusing casinos, shopping and other fun-filled activities.

The resort comprises 18 octagonal huts and cottages, lying on the sandy surrounding earth. The spectacular décor of these cottages add to the beauty and splendor of the celebrated resort. Each cottage is bathed in Junkanoo colors, reflecting the vigor and brightness of the surrounding. The rooms reflect a calm exposure of the beautiful island. The wooden floors add up to its beauty. There is a private deck in each room overlooking the surrounding scenery.

Dining at the luxurious resort constitutes another phenomenon. The lavish Compass Point restaurant is adept in preparing the celebrated Californian Caribbean cuisine, to which all the guests as well as the local residents are fond of drooling over. Amongst the hotshots of the cuisine includes Bahamaian Conch or Crab Sushi Rolls with cucumbers, mango, wasabi, and pickled ginger; and Pan Roasted Grouper with peas and rice, spicy Creole sauce and fried sweet plantain.

The resort is often frequented by celebrities and famous personalities. It significantly retains some of the ethnic resemblances of the late eighteenth century and Victorian aura. Along with a rich display of cottages and well-constructed huts, the hotel also facilitates the guests with a number of amenities, such as, a tennis court, fresh water pool, children’s pool, snorkeling equipment, various water sports and a whole range of adventure activities in the region.
