SeaWorld Orlando reveals upcoming new coaster ride
SeaWorld Orlando has unveiled details of an all-new coaster ride coming in 2024.
“Penguin Trek” is the eagerly awaited eighth coaster at the park opening next spring.
SeaWorld calls it the ultimate family launch coaster experience, which features a unique snowmobile styled ride car.
The coaster can reach speeds of up to 43 mph along a 3,020-feet indoor and outdoor track.
It runs within SeaWorld Orlando’s very own penguin habitat.
Jon Peterson, President of SeaWorld Orlando said: “This family launch coaster embodies adventure and exploration, offering an immersive journey through the wonders of Antarctica.”
“We know our guests are ready for a new thrill that the whole family could enjoy.”
The track traverses ice landscapes and through ice caves with a maze of twists and turns, ending in the real-life penguin habitat.
The new coaster ride experience joins SeaWorld Orlando’s popular rides such as ‘Mako’ and ‘Ice Breaker.’
Park tickets can be booked online.
