SeaWorld’s Praise Wave music fest announces more acts
SeaWorld has announced another headline act for its new Christian music festival series taking place this month.
Steven Curtis Chapman has joined the lineup of Praise Wave.
Chapman, who has won a record 58 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, will take to the stage on February 21 for the second of three planned shows each Saturday in February.
The SeaWorld event debuts this weekend February 14 with singers Colton Dixon and Lecrae.
Christian rapper Lecrae picked up his second Grammy last week while Dixon was an ‘American Idol’ finalist.
The shows are held in a special event area at Bayside Pathway, from 1 pm with cookout-style food, Christian music and SeaWorld characters entertaining the crowd before the music begins at 4 pm.
Performances are included in the regular park entrance fee, although there are also front row and floor seating packages starting at an additional $19.
Acts for the third and final show are yet to be announced.
