Second Edition Tokyo hotel opens
The second EDITION Tokyo hotel has opened its doors.
The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza joins The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon which launched three years ago in Japan’s capital.
Created by Ian Schrager with renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the 14-storey boutique hotel offers 86 guestrooms including 10 spacious suites with separate living areas.
It features a modern Japanese style brasserie, Ginza’s first natural wine bar, a fitness centre, lobby bar and dining.
“Ginza is a district where the cutting edge of the world and traditional Japanese culture are interwoven,” says Kengo Kuma.
Ginza is home to 34 out of the city’s 183 Michelin-starred restaurants, which is the highest concentration of Michelin-listed restaurants in Japan.
The new Tokyo hotel is now open in preview.
The hotel offers room rates from ¥120,000++ per room per night.
