Two days after a Tara Air plane crashed in Nepal, killing all passengers and crew, a second aircraft has crash landed in Chilkhaya, killing the pilot and co-pilot.

The Foreign Office confirmed the plane, belonging to Air Kashamandap, had come down while flying between Nepalgunji and Jumla.

There were 11 people on board, including one child, none of them British. According to local reports, nine passengers sustained injuries.

The 9N-AJB aircraft chartered flight had taken off from Nepalgunj to Jumla at 12:16pm. Eyewitnesses said that the plane went into a steep descent and crashed.
