Selling a ‘Rainbow’ on the Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast’s newest “luxury tourism waterfront havenâ€, the Plantation Resort and Rainbow Beach Hotel, has opened along Cooloola’s Rainbow Beach on December 1.
Tariffs are: 1 bedroom apartments from $240.00 per night, 2 bedroom apartments from $270.00 per night and family 3 bedroom apartments from $330.00 per night.
An opening 40 per cent discount off the published rate is applicable for stays between December 15 and 24 if booked before November 30.

Featuring 35 one, two and three bedroom holiday apartments, the resort’s boutique accommodation is located on the esplanade of Rainbow Beach, an unspoiled curve of sand on the northern side of Double Island Point.
Conference venues, indoor and outdoor meeting facilities and a Queenslander styled pub, the Rainbow Beach Hotel, as well as a shopping plaza featuring 10 retail outlets complement resort facilities.
Located 265 km north of Brisbane, Cooloola is the northernmost point on the Sunshine Coast.
As the upmarket resort is only 700 metres west of Fraser Island, it is envisioned that the 5-star resort will be popular with families wanting sophisticated conveniences after a day of exploring the wilderness on the World Heritage listed island.
