Seminars will take second place at travel technology show

A number of leading technology suppliers have signed up for the Travel Technology Show, which event director, David Chapple says is all about networking.

Among the exhibitors will be NTL Business (Travel Division), Travelport Corporate Solutions (a Cendent Company), Telme Online, RWA, Illusions Online, Travelink Systems and Dolphin Dynamics.

The show is taking place from 3 to 4 February at Olympia in west London.

Event director David Chapple told TravelMole that although there would be a seminar programme at the event, the focus was on exhibiting. He said: “The main focus of the show is about visitors meeting exhibitors on their stand.

“When we were carrying out research for the event, a lot of the feedback from potential exhibitors said there were limited opportunities to meet delegates at other events because they were often stuck in conference rooms all day. So the seminar programme will be complimentary, rather than the main event – 80% exhibiting and 20% seminars, rather than the other way round.”

The seminar programme is being drawn up at the moment and will be released in full next month. A stand package costs from £2,250.
