Senior appointments at Kayak.com
Kayak.com has expanded its executive team with two senior appointments.
Brian Harniman, former CEO of Openlist and VP of Marketing for Priceline, has joined as executive vice president of marketing and distribution.
Karen Klein, who was previously group VP legal for Orbitz Worldwide joins in the role of general counsel
“Kayak.com is experiencing rapid growth and we are keen to strengthen our senior leadership team,†said Steve Hafner, Kayak.com CEO and co-founder.
“Brian and Karen are veterans in the online travel industry and know from experience how to build and sustain great companies.â€
Harniman will be responsible for continuing to build Kayak.com’s awareness among consumers.
He will also help launch and oversee the newly developed Kayak Publishing Network, a vertical ad network that syndicates targeted text-based ads on search result pages for travel e-commerce sites.
