Shake off the Winter blues with Emirates
Sick of this cold winter weather and can’t wait for summer?
Emirates Airline is offering a fantastic opportunity to experience summer fun in Dubai, as part of the 2006 Dubai Summer Surprises festival!
Fly Emirates to Dubai between 21st June and 1st September 2006 and enjoy room rates starting from as little as US$43 per person per night. These affordable packages, which include meet and greet at Dubai International Airport, transfers between the hotel and airport, breakfast, room tax and service charge offer customers, especially families, exceptional value-for-money.
Emirates’ customers can choose from more than twenty 3- to 5-star city and beach hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton, the Shangri-La Dubai and the Emirates Towers Hotel.
In its ninth year, the 2006 Dubai Summer Surprises festival promises to be the most exciting yet, with more shopping malls offering you a wider selection of world class brands at excellent value and ten weeks of wonderful entertainment. At the end of their stay, Emirates guests will receive an additional 10 kilos of free baggage allowance, which they are likely to need with their suitcases full of bargains!
These packages, designed to increase inbound traffic to Dubai, are available to all Emirates passengers regardless of the class of travel, for a minimum stay of three nights with an option to extend their stay. Prices are on a per-person per-night sharing basis and include all accommodation-related taxes and service charges.
As an added attraction, Emirates this year has tied up with Wafi City, one of Dubai’s premier malls, to offer customers exclusive discounts at the mall’s stores, coffee shops and restaurants. To facilitate this, discount voucher booklets will be provided to passengers as part of the Arabian Adventures Welcome pack.
Every year, DSS is centred around malls, each of which are themed. Wafi City’s theme this year is motor sports. Visitors will see a thrilling display of Formula One cars including the Emirates-sponsored McLaren-Mercedes MP4/21 show car at the mall.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide, said: “Emirates has put together these unbeatable packages as part of our worldwide drive to bring more overseas visitors to Dubai. DSS 2006 promises lots of fun and frolic, not to mention never-before shopping bargains. We have been sponsoring the event since its inception in 1998, re-enforcing our commitment to Dubai’s trade and tourism initiatives.”
Emirates flies to over 80 destinations in more than 55 countries and is promoting the event worldwide with a full-scale PR and advertising campaign.
