Shangri-La announces China expansion for Hotel Jen

Shangri-La has announced a further expansion of its Hotel Jen brand in China..
 
The company will unveil Hotel Jen Beijing in January 2017, marking the third Hotel Jen in mainland China.
 
The hotel is set over 22 floors of the China World Trade Center development in the heart of Beijing’s business district and features 450 rooms and suites.
 
"As we continue to grow the Hotel Jen brand in Asia, we are excited to bring our friendly and energetic hospitality style into the heart of Beijing’s financial and business centre," said Lothar Nessmann, chief operations officer for the brand.
 
The hotel will include a co-working hub, a gastro pub, health club and meeting space.
 
"We aim to create and nurture an environment that encourages new ways of conducting business and stimulates interaction. We look forward to welcoming guests to our innovative spaces, including our meeting venues, fitness centre and gastropub," said hotel general managerClifford Weiner.
 
The Hotel Jen brand was established two years ago following a rebrand of Shangri-La’s Traders Hotel portfolio.
 
The brand currently operates 10 hotels with new developments already announced for the Malaysian cities of Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.
