Shearings enters sea cruise sector

Shearings has dived further into the cruise sector by offering a dedicated sea cruise brochure.

The company partners with All Leisure Group’s Voyages of Discovery and offers 23 itineraries on board the MV Discovery in the brochure.

Shearings has expanded into sea cruising after seeing sales increase by 18% year on year for its river cruising product.

Product development manager Patricia Birmingham said: “Our vision for Shearings is to be the leading provider of escorted tours in UK, Europe and cruise.

“We’ve expanded our offering for all our 2010 programmes and now have our biggest ever collection of sea cruises which is why we have launched a dedicated brochure.

“This will help agents broaden their offering to our very loyal customer base as well as helping us reach out to a wider audience of holidaymakers who may not have previously considered a Shearings holiday.”

The brochure’s cruises are a mix of ex-Harwich and fly-cruises including Scandinavia, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
