Shearings renews partnership with Wigan Warriors
Shearings Holidays has renewed its partnership with Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club for the third year running.
The move comes on the back of a successful two-year relationship.
As part of the partnership, Shearings Holidays will retain exclusive rights to organise official supporter travel packages to key events such as the Betfred Super League Magic Weekend and fixtures outside of the UK.
The operator will also sponsor the team’s home shirts with the Shearings branding on the upper back.
A new development for 2020 will see another brand within the Specialist Leisure Group portfolio, SportingBreaks.com, become the club’s official sports travel partner.
This will allow the operator to offer fans special sporting packages to non-rugby related events such as horse-racing, darts, tennis etc. The SportingBreaks.com logo will be displayed across the upper back of the team’s away shirts.
Richard Calvert, CEO at Specialist Leisure Group, pictured right, said: "Just like the Warriors, we are not only proud of our Wigan heritage."
Wigan Warriors executive eirector, Kris Radlinski, pictured left, said: "Given that Specialist Leisure Group has chosen to not only extend but also expand their partnership with the club, this shows the strength of the relationship which has been developed between the two organisations.
"We look forward to continuing to work closely with the fantastic staff at Specialist Leisure Group, whilst facilitating opportunities for fans and the local community to engage with both Shearings Holidays and SportingBreaks.com."
