Tourism Ireland has signed up as a key partner for ExploreGB, VisitBritain’s new annual flagship international event, which will debut in February 2015.

British and Irish tourism suppliers and destinations attending the event at the Ascot racecourse near London will have the opportunity to meet and do business with up to 250 international travel buyers from more than 37 countries.

Tourism Ireland joins other ExploreGB partners including the tourism trade association UKinbound, as well as regional tourist boards VisitEngland, VisitWales, VisitScotland and London & Partners.

More than 150 British tourism suppliers have already registered for ExploreGB 2015, including hotel groups, transport companies, visitor attractions and retail outlets.

Tourism Ireland also expects a strong contingent of suppliers to sign up.

ExploreGB is due to take place local to London in its first year and will then alternate annually between London and other regions within Britain.
