Si Morris-Green to join Classic Collection
EasyJet holidays’ former head of distribution Si Morris-Green is joining Classic Collection and Classic Package Holidays as Director of Agency Sales and Marketing.
Si had spent almost a year at EasyJet holidays after leaving The Travel Network Group, where he was marketing director, in February 2019.
After leaving TTNG he also launched his own consultancy, Evolve, and a new cruise operator, Fusion Cruises.
He will join Classic on 2 November. The company said his appointment highlights its ‘ongoing commitment to the trade’. He has been tasked with developing Classic’s relationships with agency partners, providing sales and marketing support and driving the growth of agent trade business.
Si has worked in the travel industry for over 20 years, starting his career overseas before returning to the UK in various functions at Thomas Cook.
He went on to become Commercial Sales and Marketing Director at Planet Cruise, before joining TTNG.
CEO of Classic Collection Oliver Garner said: "While it has clearly been a tough period for the travel industry, we remain confident in the business’s resilience and are committed to our robust strategy and continued expansion of the brands. Si’s extensive experience in the industry will be invaluable in identifying and realising these strategic opportunities."
