SideStep adds 25,000 hotels

Internet travel search company SideStep is adding 25,000 hotels to the site.

The company, which recently launched in the UK, is incorporating popular destinations in Australia, Europe and the US to its hotel search, bringing its hotel portfolio up to 150,000 properties.

UK managing director Kevin Eyres said: “We pride ourselves on our ability to provide consumers with the best travel search experience possible. Central to this is ensuring that we have solid partnerships and direct supplier relationships in those locations which consumers are demanding.

“It is particularly important that we keep up to date with travel demands in the UK market as UK consumers tend to be more advanced when it comes to using online travel services, and typically spend more than their European counterparts.”

The new additions include Classic International Hotels, Golden Tulip, Jurys Doyle, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, NH Hotels, Preferred Group, Sierra Suites and Station Casinos.
