Silverjet takes delivery of Thomsonfly aircraft
Silverjet has taken delivery of its second aircraft, a British maintained Boeing 767-200, from Thomsonfly Limited.
After complete fit out, including 100 6ft 3in beds, the aircraft will be used to operate a second daily return all-business class service from London Luton to New York Newark from July 2.
The airline said financing of the aircraft has been completed, substantially within the parameters of the business plan, through a sale and leaseback arrangement with Novus Capital.
