Silversea cruises to be sold by Kuoni
Kuoni is to sell upscale cruise line Silversea in its network of 40 stores on the high street and in its John Lewis concessions.
The long-haul operator’s new Stay & Cruise collection will feature Silversea’s voyages in Asia, where the company will make a number of inaugural ports of call in 2017.
Silver Whisper will make a maiden call at Celukan Bewang, Bali while Silver Discoverer will make inaugural calls at ports in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and Indonesia in 2017.
Kuoni commercial director Mark Duguid said: "Our cruise business is going from strength to strength and we have a team of experts within our stores who are able to blend expert destination knowledge with itineraries which include ships and experiences that are truly best in class.
"The partnership with Silversea is a great step forward for our luxury collection."
