Silversea goes on sale early for 2011
A free flight and transfer initiative has been expanded and is now available from seven UK airports: Heathrow, Manchester, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and Jersey.
The 296-passenger ship starts the year with a series of Caribbean voyages and two crossings of the Panama Canal before spending a month in the Mediterranean. Silver Cloud then travels northward to summer in Iceland, Scandinavia, Britain and Ireland. An overnight visit to remote Archangel, Russia, is one of the season’s highlights. Autumn in the Mediterranean precedes a return to Caribbean waters and the Amazon.
Silver Wind
2011 itineraries on the 298-passenger vessel begin in Dubai, visit India and Oman, the Seychelles and trace Africa’s coastline from Mombasa to Cape Town to Morocco. Mediterranean destinations, including the Holy Land and a Black Sea cruise, run in spring and summer, followed by two more cruises to the Holy Land and a return to Arabian ports and the Seychelles.
Silver Shadow
The 382-passenger ships opens the year in New Zealand fjords and a debut 30-day circumnavigation of Australia, followed by the Far East. Summer will be in Alaska before a return to China, Japan and Vietnam.
