Silversea switches Silver Cloud itineraries
Silversea Cruises ship Silver Cloud is to operate a new schedule next autumn.
The vessel will sail to the Atlantic provinces of Canada and New England next autumn.
This is instead of a London-to-Barbados repositioning voyage and three Caribbean cruises.
The four new itineraries cover departures from London, Reykjavik, Montreal and New York.
The new itineraries start with a repositioning cruise from London to Reykjavik, followed by Iceland to Montreal, Montreal-New York and New York-Barbados.
Worldwide sales and marketing executive vice-president David Morris said: “The last time we offered autumn cruises to this region was three years ago and Silver Cloud has not visited since 1999.
“We offered a couple of expedition cruises in the north Atlantic earlier this year on the Prince Albert II, and they were extremely popular.
“We think that indicates it’s time to start featuring these destinations again on one of the ships in our classic fleet, especially during the spectacular autumn foliage season.”
