Singapore Airlines appoints new PR chief
Singapore Airlines has announced the appointment of Siva Govindasamy as new vice president of public affairs.
Govindasamy replaces Nicholas Ionides who leaves after 10 years at SIA.
Ionides is joining Marina Bay Sands later this year as communications chief.
Govindasamy is joining SIA from Airbus where he was senior communications manager, Asia-Pacific since 2016.
At Airbus he was responsible for corporate communications across several business units including commercial aircraft, defence and space, and helicopters.
Prior to joining Airbus Singaporean national Govindasamy was a journalist.
