Singapore Airlines banned from flying to Hong Kong for Covid breach
Singapore Airlines is the latest carrier to breach Hong Kong’s tough Covid rules. Hong Kong has banned SIA from operating flights to Hong Kong for 14 days.
It comes after a passenger on a Singapore Airlines flight last week was found to be positive for Covid and three others on the same flight failed to comply with entry rules.
Singapore Airlines will be able to resume flights from Singapore to HK on 16 April. A number of other airlines have been hit with temporary flights for similar breaches including Cathay Pacific and Air India, which has served several two-week flight bans over the past few months.
