Singapore Airlines in pole position with Sauber sponsorship
Singapore Airlines has teamed up with the Sauber Formula One racing team to become its official airline partner.
It has agreed a long term deal to provide travel for the team to F1 races, particularly within Asia and Australia.
“Sauber stands for a strong brand with a long-time, impressive tradition. We are excited about the new season and looking forward to embarking on this journey together,” said Singapore Airlines’ Switzerland general manager Ranjan Jha.
The tie-up was also welcomed by Sauber team principal Monisha Kaltenborn, who said: “We are excited to embark on a long-term and sustainable partnership with Singapore Airlines, a highly-respected company with a true global presence.”
It is a timely boost for both parties following the 2015 opening race in Melbourne last weekend.
