Singapore Airlines joins hands with Tourism Western Australia
Singapore Airlines has joined hands with Tourism Western Australia to jointly promote tourism to WA.
The three-year marketing agreement is worth about A$5 million and extends a partnership dating back 20 years.
SIA and TWA will jointly fund and manage campaigns in 10 main source markets across Europe, Southeast Asia, India, Japan, Greater China and the US.
"Singapore Airlines and Tourism Western Australia have been close partners for 20 years. I am sure that more travellers will be encouraged to visit the sights and attractions Western Australia has to offer," said SIA’s senior vice president. sales and marketing, Campbell Wilson.
Singapore Air has been flying to Australia for more than 50 year and currently operates up to 137 weekly flights.
Subsidiaries Silkair and Scoot also serve Australia.
Last year the airline and Tourism Australia signed a more comprehensive joint marketing agreement worth A$11 million.
