Singapore Airlines partners with wellness brand for healthy in-flight eats
Singapore Airlines has teamed up with wellness and resort brand COMO Shambhala to offer healthier in-flight meals for travellers.
Beginning September 1, First Class and Business Class customers can enjoy the new wellness menu on selected flights from Singapore including Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
In addition dishes can be pre-booked for First Class, Business Class and Premium Economy Class on all departures from Singapore.
Pre-ordering can be done online via the ‘Book the Cook’ tool.
"We are excited to unveil the fruits of our partnership with COMO Shambhala, tapping on their expertise in holistic wellness and nutritious cuisine," said Singapore Airlines SVP of customer experience, Yeoh Phee Teik.
The menu is tailored to provide extra nourishment and reduce stress and fatigue, SIA says.
It will also promote good digestion and circulation.
The airline has also partnered with US-based brand Canyon Ranch on in-flight wellness initiatives on all Singapore-US flights.
