Singapore Airlines premium passengers to get free Wi-Fi
Premium class flyers on Singapore Airlines will now get the added perk of free in-flight Wi-Fi.
It will be offered free of charge for all first class and business passengers, those in Suites class and Priority Passenger Service loyalty members.
It is applicable on routes operated by Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft.
Like other airlines offering a similar perk, it is not unlimited with relatively small quotas.
Suites and first class customers will get 100MB for free while business travellers receive just 30MB, as do PPS members.
Other major airlines like Turkish Airlines offer free surfing in the sky for business class and elite frequent flyers, while Emirates leads the way with first and business class passengers and elite loyalty members getting unlimited use of onboard Wi-Fi.
