Singapore Airlines, Scoot extend Middle East flight cancellations
Singapore Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary, Scoot have extended cancellations of Middle East flights until at least mid-March.
Singapore Airlines scheduled flights to Dubai will be suspended until March 15 and said this could potentially be extended based on the situation at the time.
Additionally, Scoot’s Singapore–Jeddah is also cancelled until at least next weekend.
The airlines said customers can claim a full refund for the unused portion of their booking or be reaccommodated on other services if possible.
They are being encouraged to register for the SIA mobile notification service to receive the latest updates about their flight status.
Major Gulf airlines have started flying scheduled services again to select destinations but no airline has yet resumed full network service.
