Singapore Airlines taps Grab for airport trips
Singapore Airlines wants to go the extra mile for customers by partnering with Southeast Asia ride-hailing app Grab.
SIA hopes to make the whole journey a seamless one including first-mile and last-mile legs to and from the airport.
The two companies with integrate both the required tech and loyalty reward benefits allowing customers to book Grab rides via the Singapore Air mobile app up to seven days before their departure.
The partnership covers Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Customer can also convert GrabRewards points into SIA’s KrisFyler miles.
"We are thrilled to bring more convenience to our customers on the ground and in the air through our new partnership with Grab, while also offering KrisFlyer and GrabRewards members the opportunity to convert points to miles and redeem them for award flights or flight upgrades," said Singapore Airlines sales & marketing SVP, Campbell Wilson.
