Singapore Airlines to sponsor Australian ‘City2’ running events
Singapore Airlines has inked a partnership with promoter Fairfax Events to become the primary sponsor of Australia’s popular City2 running events.
The carrier has signed a three year deal to support the races which attract thousands of fun runners and generate millions for charitable causes.
The City2 runs take place through the year in major Australian cities.
First up this year is Brisbane’s City2South on June 14, followed by the Swan River Run in Perth on July 26, Sydney City2Surf (August 9), Canberra Times Fun Run (September 6) and Melbourne City2Sea on November 15.
The five running events raise about A$10 million annually and attract in excess of 250,000.
