Singapore-Hong Kong bubble could burst again
It could be déjà vu again for the Singapore-Hong Kong travel bubble. It is looking increasingly likely that Singapore won’t meet the Covid infection rate criteria for the air travel corridor to go ahead.
Singapore has strengthened health protocols again under its Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) period until next month after rising infections which led to the closure of part of Singapore Changi Airport.
Both cities said they are committed to the air travel bubble and will ‘closely monitor the numbers over the next few days and critically review the start date.’
