Singapore Tourism Board partners with Wego to lure more Gulf travellers
Online metasearch platform Wego has teamed up with the Singapore Tourism Board to drive more travellers from the Gulf region to visit Singapore.
Wego and STB are working together to boost demand for the winter season by increasing the brand and destination awareness.
It will focus on showcasing experiences, events and year-round activities.
According to Mamoun Hmedan, managing director of MENA and India at Wego, the number of bookings to Singapore grew by more than one-third in the first half of 2019.
Singapore’s cleanliness, safety, and efficient public transport are all key selling points with GCC tourists.
"Through our partnership, we aim to educate travellers and showcase Singapore’s unique offerings, helping holiday makers plan and book their next trip," Hmedan said.
