Online travel insurance provider InsureMyTrip.com (IMT) claims its “revolutionary” new service enables agents to rate, compare and purchase travel insurance for clients all online in a completely secure environment.

The company’s parent IMT Services Corp. launched its InsureMyTraveler that allows agents to utilize a single interface to communicate and conduct business with their travel insurance companies.

“What this all boils down to is a time and money proposition. The agents that have contacted us want to become more efficient and effective in their insurance bookings, saving both time and money,” said Jim Grace, president of IMT Services.

He said IMT’s new service was designed for agents with multiple travel insurance companies who want to use a single outlet for their business.

The service has a one-time set-up fee of $150. There’s also a 5% transaction charge for every order.
