Six Senses St. Kitts resort to open in late 2021
St. Kitts Tourism Authority has announced the new Six Senses resort planned for the island will open by the end of 2021.
Minister for tourism Lindsay F.P. Grant met with the Six Senses development team and said plans are progressing well for the 41 acre resort which is being built on a former sugar plantation in La Vallee.
It will comprise 70 pool villas and The Retreat.
"It is exciting to see the team already hard at work to create what is sure to become an exceptional product and to see how passionate they are about what they’re doing. The Six Senses property will add yet another signature hotel brand to our growing portfolio of accommodations," Grant said.
"It will provide significant economic benefits for the people of the Federation including the creation of over 300 jobs for our local citizens in the construction phases alone."
Six Senses St Kitts will mark the brand’s debut in the Caribbean and Latin America.
The project is being managed by Range Developments, which was also responsible for the Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour.
SKTA also announced plans for a new Ritz-Carlton Resort which is slated to open in in 2021.
