Ski ‘extras’ site launches for agents
A new website has launched offering agents the chance to book discounted ski add-ons for their clients.
Called SkiHolidayExtras.com, it offers allows agents to earn commission on ski packs that are usually bought in resort.
Brand manager Callum Chiverton explains: “Many traditional ski operators don’t pay commission on extras like lift passes or ski schools – which is hardly an incentive for agents to sell them.
“Agents can now arrange the basic package with their favourite ski operators and partner with SkiHolidayExtras.com to book all the add-ons that the client really wants and earn commission from us at the same time.”
SkiHolidayExtras.com offers add-ons in over 140 ski resorts from airport transfers (scheduled and private) to lift passes, ski and board lessons, ski equipment hire and even catering options.
Agents can register for the site or sign up for a white-label option.
Chiverton said SkiHolidayExtras.com is backed by both UK and French-based teams.
“We have over 100 staff in France which means that in some resorts we can even personally deliver lift passes to clients’ chalets before they arrive,” he added.
The operator – which is bonded with ABTA and the CAA – can also offer charter flights into Grenoble and Chambery on a seat-only basis.
